Bunny Day Bunny Day

Yesterday was Easter Sunday and we went to Jon and Patty's to spend the day with the family. I got to meet some new friends as Patty's Mom and Dad were there too. Patty's Dad played with me and we had fun.

There were a bunch of new toys to play with and I had to keep my eye on them as Dad and Uncle Jon seemed to like them alot too.
Dad seems to be having a great time too....I know I had a great time.

Woweeee! What a Fun Day!

Yesterday I went to Madison with my Mom and we met Grandma Landmann at the mall. Me and Grandma got to spend time together while Mom got her hair cut. Then it was so exciting.....we went to visit with the Easter Bunny! Wow! He was huge and furry and real nice. I had fun. They took my picture. We ate at the food court and in addition to my usual bland stuff, I got to taste tiny pieces of strombolli. Ohhh! Yum!

We saw lots of people and they all smiled at me and I smiled back. I got to try on clothes and we bought my first beach wear. Shade hat, swimming diaper and matching tee shirt. Can't wait for warmer weather.

Spent time in different strollers as Mom was shopping for a new jogging stroller. I just had one adventure after another. Finally in one of the stores Grandma saw something she just knew I needed. So take a look at this:

My New Jeep

My cool new red jeep has a horn and motor noises and all kinds of colors and shapes on the dash. My feet touch the ground so I can walk it around. I got it figured out in the first couple of minutes and the sounds made me laugh out loud. We had a really nice day...me and Mom and Grandma.

My Mom Made Grandma Very Happy Today

My Mom is a sweetheart. Today she sent Grandma some new photos. Grandma always gets excited to see my changes and progress. It is easy to be great when you have such a good audience.

So here's Henry Thomas!

Me trying to feed myself and enjoying every minute of it. Me trying to show off my new teeth. Aren't they great? I wonder if all kids are this happy?

The Birthday Visit

Last night we went to Grandma and Grandpa's Landmann's house for dinner to celebrate Grandpa's birthday and my Mom's birthday. They are two days apart so we usually celebrate them together.

I had some real mashed potaotes and carrots and got to taste some homemade apple pie. Ummm! Good Stuff.

Jon and Patty were there too and after dinner I got to play and everyone was so nice and smiley.

Don't You Just Love Birthdays

Grandpa Landmann is having a birthday and me and Mom decided to send him a photo birthday card. I got to be the model and Mom got to be the photographer. It was fun. Check out these great shots Mom got.

Some New Things About Me

My Mom sent Grandma some new pictures of me because I just keep finding new things to do. I've been crawling, first backward and now forward....at speed. My knees are getting real pink from the carpet. I have teeth coming in and am enjoying all kinds of new things to eat.

Another Milestone in Life

For awhile now, I have been hinting, reaching out and actually trying to grab the spoon to let my Mom know that I want to help out with this eating thing. If I help, I get to choose what I eat and sometimes I may get it faster.

Well yesterday my Mom let me try to master the "Cheerios Grab". I got some in my mouth. Not is this picture but I did, really! I know this is the beginning of some good times with Mom and Dad. Eating is social and I'm a pretty social guy.

Also went to the doctor today and he said, "He's a healthy and happy baby". Weighed in at sixteen pounds four ounces and I've grown 6 inches. Let's see, in baby math thats about an inch a month. I wanna be tall like my Dad. Bring on the Cheerios and let me get to eating and crawling.

Uncle Jon and Me Having Fun

Well, after our outing to lunch with Grandma's friends, my cold got a little worse but now I've gotten over it.

Jon and Patty stopped to visit our house on Sunday afternoon so I got to play with them. They are fun.

Jon held me for a long time. Patty brought me a really awesome camo fleece top.

It was great to see more family. Grandma and Grandpa on Friday and Patty and Jon on Sunday.

I'm one lucky guy....well I suppose they came to see my Mom and Dad too.

Me and Grandpa

Boy oh boy did I have fun today. Mom took me on a road trip to Grandma's house and we went to visit friends and have lunch. There were kids there and they were really nice to me. They were facinated with my drool and watching me eat my special food.

We went back to Grandma's and I spent some time with Grandpa. He is super nice but worries too much about dropping me. I tried to show him how strong my legs are but he held me too tightly and worried too much. Next visit I'll be even bigger and maybe he will relax.

Excited About Henry's Visit

Henry Thomas is coming to visit tomorrow. I'm beyond excited. His Mom tells me he is crawling backwards and sometimes forward. I look forward to seeing that.

We are going to lunch with some friends. They are excited to meet Henry for the first time. Must remember the camera this time so I can share our fun.

A Day Spent With Henry Thomas

Today Grandma spent the day at my house. She came to visit me and my Mom and Dad too, of course. We had a good time playing. Grandma got to see all of my nice toys and books. She could see how much my Mom plays with me and makes me laugh. Posted by Picasa

I'm getting stronger every day. My Mom helps me exercise when we play.

It must not have occurred to her yet that she is going to be chasing after me when I can crawl and walk.

She should think this over.

I'm really sweet and easy to play with now. Posted by Picasa

Grandma's Being A Little Naughty

Today Grandma thought and thought about how bad it would be to "borrow" a picture from my Mom's baby blog! She decided to go for it since the photo is "so" cute. I'm sure my Mom won't mind....right Mom? If you check out both blogs, you shouldn't mind seeing it twice as it is really "so" cute.

At Uncle Jon's Again

Last weekend we went to visit Uncle Jon again. He was cooking brats on the grill but I couldn't have any...yet! Grandma and Grandpa were there too. We got to see Patty's Christmas decorations before she took down her tree and put away all of the "good" stuff that made the house look so nice.

This picture is a "little" soft but you get the idea. Loving my toy. It is noisy and makes laughing sounds and lights flash.

It is a butterfly. I'm chewing on the antennae to help my new tooth get through. Won't be long till I can have steak. Posted by Picasa

Christmas Eve at Grandpa Landmann's

I'm going to Grandma and Grandpa Landmann's house for Christmas Eve. I'm wearing my special "Santa" suit that Patty gave me, don't you think I look cute? We've just arrived and everyone is very excited to see me again. This should be a really fun day. Something always smell good at Grandma's. Ummm! I think I smell ham and cookies. Posted by Picasa

Dad, Mom and Me. This is my family! Posted by Picasa

Opening my first Christmas Presents! Fun! Posted by Picasa

Patty gave me a bunch of "Big" books. I like this one a lot. Posted by Picasa

This is Uncle Paul! He held me and let me drool all over his arm and he didn't even care. Some people don't seem to like my drool. Posted by Picasa

A Real Together Family

On Wednesday night December 7th, we all met at a grill your own steaks place called "Hookers". It is a nice place on the Wisconsin River, not that it matters at this time of the year. The occasion was Uncle Jon's birthday. It smelled marvelous in there but I had arrived with a full tummy so just smiled and cooed and drooled for everyone. And now to the "together" part, they all knew it was an occasion, and they all knew that I would be there but no one brought a camera. Now this together family has five digital cameras but no pictures that night. Anyway, we had a great time. My Grandma was so pleased as she got to hold me while Mom ate, at least part of her meal, and I didn't cry or fuss or anything. They had a great time and I did too.

Mom knew Grandma would want some new photo so she emailed her one of my up to date shots. I'm having a good time here too, playing with my "Paddington".

Went to Grandma Landmann's for Thanksgiving. Everything smelled so good. I think there were lots of good things cooking. My Mom dressed me up real cute in my lion outfit. She plays with me and makes me smile. I'm learning to talk and smile just like my Mom. Posted by Picasa

Here I am getting all changed into a new outfit. Sometimes I kind of mess up what I'm wearing so need to change into another fabulous outfit. I seem to have a bunch of clothes. Posted by Picasa

I think they will want me to take a nap soon. I'm way too interested in what's going on. I may wait to sleep until on the drive home. I wonder if I really AM in charge. Posted by Picasa

Ummmmm! Bananas

Today my Dad gave me a taste of real food. My Mom was a bit worried but felt I was probably ready for it. I WAS! Yummy! It was only a very small taste but I'm looking forward to more interesting things to taste very soon.

Wearing My Movers Overalls

Wore my big boy overalls to help Uncle Jon move into his new house. I wanted to help move the big TV but Mom insisted on feeding me and watching the Packer game. Posted by Picasa

Dad and Uncle Jon are working so hard. I hope I grow up big and strong like them. Grandma and Grandpa are here too helping Patty and Uncle Jon move in all of their furniture and other neat stuff. Posted by Picasa

Babies Make Us Silly

Henry Thomas came to visit again on Thursday night with his Mom and Dad. Tom was again generously working on my woodshop wiring. After dinner and helping briefly in the shop I got to visit with Em and Henry. He is becoming very responsive to light, movement, noises and people. He was very fun to watch and talk to.

After getting his tummy full and a nice nap with Mom, Henry was ready to interact with us. You have never seen such a funny scene (as I look back on it) as Emily talking to Henry Thomas and he was gooing and cooing and with big smiles and dimples while Grandpa Henry and I stood there leaning over him and listening as though we could understand every thing he was saying. Wow...look at that ...he is talking....he is sooo cute. I'm a very lucky Grandma to be able to see Henry Thomas often as he is growing and changing with each visit.

Henry Thomas in His New Swing

Henry seems to like his new swing. Emily says that he can see himself in the mirror that is on the back of the flower above him. He loves to be held while walking and swaying or to be rocked so he should love the motion of the swing. He is wearing his "camo" sleeper that Grandpa Henry just had to get for him at Sheel's in EauClaire. What a sweety.

What a swinger! Posted by Picasa

Another Visit to Grandma's House

On Friday the 7th Henry came to visit Grandma. Tom was doing the wiring in my new woodcarving shop so I was busy trying to be helpful there and taking time to visit with my new and best grandson. He is certainly a MaMa's boy as he knows who holds and rocks him best. It was nice to see how well he is growing. He is very strong and determined when he is unhappy.

Getting ready to go home. We had a nice visit while Tom was busy wiring my new woodcarving shop.  Posted by Picasa

Just got over crying for his Mom. She is #1 in his book. Posted by Picasa
