Our Family Fourth of July at the Cabin

Hi Grandma, I felt a little shy since I haven't seen you since January.
But then had a nice little tea party with Grandpa .
And thing were all smiles.
Hi Grandma, I'm still in my pjs but wonder what is under the bridge. Where are the fish? When can I get in there?

At the Park

Our Dads and Uncle Jon went off motorcycle riding so we went to the park.
Here is Aunt Patty and me on the green bumpy slide. It got pretty hot later in the day.
Grandma, I love the tallest slide...here my Mom is riding with me. I didn't need her but wanted her to have fun too.
Nice place for a photo of us cousins.
We got to play in the sand...Somes time we played alone.

Time For Lunch After the Park

Grandma, I'm laughing so hard to see myself on the movie on your camera of Henry and I splashing in the lake. It was sooooo much fun. We were lovin it. It must be true that I'm a water girl cause I sure loved it.

Birthday Kitchen

After the park we took our naps and while we were sleeping, Aunt Patty and Grandma, with a little help from Grandpa and my Dad, put together my new birthday kitchen. I just had a birthday and I'm 2. I was so surprised when I woke up and found a kitchen to play with.
Here I am on the regular side. It has an oven and dishwasher and microwave and refrigerator and stove and a bunch of neat stuff.

Here is Henry on the out side part of the kitchen. It has a barbecue grill and a table and stool to sit on and more neat stuff.

Birthday Kitchen Continued

Or we can cook apart so we each have our own space. Henry loved the barbecue...it makes noise and glows red. I'm not sure about it yet...it is a little scary for me. I like the regular side....at least for now.

Chef Henri...is thinking about good things he can cook for us to eat.

You want me to cook...what???? Hmmm.

Other Activities at the Cabin

for a spin. Not too fast and

Our Dads and Uncle Jon
and Grandpa went to shoot
sporting clays. They needed
to have some fun too.

Some Other Fun We Had At the Cabin

This is a really good one. Grandpa is fishing and our Dad's and Uncle Jon decided to help him out by watching and maybe giving him some advice. Then we wanted to help out too so joined Grandpa fishing.

Do you think he got a big one or a snag? We will let you wonder. Grandpa is a good fisherman so it could be a nice trout or a not so nice weed.

Aunt Patty is playing bubbles with me in the yard. I'm chasing the bubbles....it is a little hard to see in the picture but we had fun...right Aunt Patty?

Off for a long walk in the meadow. Uncle Tom and my Dad are holding my hands so I don't trip and fall. It was a nice walk. We were looking for the deer Mama and baby that we saw earlier in the day.

Squirt Gun Battles

Grandma, Do you remember the squirt gun battles we had at the cabin?
You had fun too, didn't you?
Getting everyone wet was so much fun. I'm much better at squirting than I was last year when I was two.

Here is Uncle Jon squirting me and I am squirting him.

Can you see the drip of water on Uncle Jon's nose and how wet his hair is? That's cause I'm squirting him so much.

Fireworks on the Fourth

Since it was the 4th of July we went into Cumberland for the fireworks.
Me and Kori think the noise it scary. Maybe next year we will like the fireworks better.

In Sand Creek

After we had lunch, Uncle Jon and Aunt Patty left for home.
They had a Brewer game to go to on Sunday.
Our Dads took us into Sand Creek to play in the water.
It was cold and moved fast, not like at the lake so it took us awhile to decide if we like it.

Getting used to the cold water but it was nice. Here we are splashing

One of our Dads would throw the big ball up the creek and the current would bring it back to us.
We had fun catching it again.

On The Way Home From The Cabin

Grandma, On the way home from Uncle Paul's cabin,
we stopped at two trains.


My Dad let me climb all over them and look at all the neat things.

We saw the boiler and all kinds of levers and the really really big wheels. It was fun and felt good to get out of the car and climb around after riding for so long.

Grandma, see how big the wheel is! It is huge!!

I have a million Thomas the Train engines but none are this big.

I guess it is time to get on the road again, right Dad?
Could look at trains all day....but need to see what else my Mom and Dad
can find for me to see on the way home.

Sweet Grandma's Anniversary

Hello Everybody, Me (Henry Thomas) and Kori went to Uncle Jon and Aunt Patty's
to help Sweet Grandma and PawPaw celebrate their 45th Anniversary.
I think that means they were our Grandparents way back in
1963 but me and Kori didn't know it yet.

Like all of our times together, our Mom's love to take pictures.

Hello Grandma....Wanted you to see some of the things I've been up to so
