Boy I Just Love Birthdays

This time it is Uncle Jon's birthday and we have gone out to eat again. It is so much fun to help celebrate someones birthday. I get to try so many new tastes. This is a picture of Uncle Jon and Aunt Patty before we had our dinner.
After dinner we visited and pretty soon it was getting time to go. I had fun with everyone and hated for the party to end. Here I am giving Grandma a goodby kiss. She said it was the sweetest most gentle kiss on the eyelids she had ever received. I like giving them and she sure likes getting them.

Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa's

Here we are at our Grandma's house and the table is set for dinner. It smells great.

Kori and I are sitting with my Mom (who is also Aunt Emily) waiting to be called to eat. We are going to have turkey and all of the yummy stuff that goes with it.

After dinner we are going to go to a tree farm and ride on a horse drawn wagon out into the fields to choose a Christmas Tree.

We, me and Kori, are not sure what this is about but some one will explain it to us

Here we are waiting for the wagon and the horses. It is very exciting.
Grandma is holding me, or trying to, and the horses are coming.

My Dad put me on his shoulders so I could see better. Sorry, no one took any pictures of the horses...but they were "Big" and their names were "Ding", "Dick" and "Doc", I think. After riding on a bumpy lane for awhile we got off at a field of trees that looked good to everyone.
My Dad explained to me that it was my job to find the "perfect" tree for our family. I thought they all looked perfect. I looked for Kori to help me but she had gone off with her Mom and Dad in search of their "perfect" tree.

So, I started looking

and pretty soon I found the one for us.

My Dad sawed it down so we could take it home.
Meanwhile.....Uncle Jon and Aunt Patty found their "perfect" tree. They sure look happy.

Grandpa helped Uncle Jon saw it down so we would be ready when the horses came back to pick us up on the wagon.
We saw the horses coming back so hurried to the lane with our trees. Hey there were Uncle Paul, Aunt Sarah and Kori. They had found a perfect tree too. We got on the wagon and had a ride back to the warming house/gift shop. What a fun time we had.
After getting the trees, we went back to Grandpa's. We had walked around enough that we now had room in our tummy for some dessert.

Yummy homemade apple and pumpkin pies, cranberry bread and cookies.

Warm drinks and dessert, I can hardly wait..

This is Grandpa and Kori and Dad and me. Can you tell we've had our dessert?

Grandma is enjoying holding Kori while Paul and Sarah visit with Grandma.
Everyone is getting ready to go home.
What a perfect way to finish a day I will remember for
lots of us being together,
eating turkey and getting the tree.
What a nice way to celebrate Thanksgiving!

Grandma's Visit

Hello everyone...it's me Kori Jean...I'd like to tell you about my Grandma's visit. My Mom had to go to Colorado to take care of her Grandma, so my Grandma came for a visit to take care of me and my Dad.

Here I am taking a nap so Grandma could take one too......I think she needed one..... but pretty soon..... I was awake again and..... ready to play.

The next really fun thing we did was take a tubby. My Dad usually bathes me so he showed Grandma the way we do it.....the way I like it.... so Grandma got to bathe me. We had a splashing good time!
After I was dressed again it was time for a bottle and more play time. I can't decide what I like the best. Food, bath or play. I have a pretty good life. Plenty of hugs and kisses too.

Amazing Three Generations

Everyone thought it amazing how much the Grandpa to be (Henry) and the Daddy to be (Tom) looked alike at about 18 months of age. Now we can add Henry Thomas to the trio. He is only 14 months but there is still a strong family resemblance.

Hi Grandma Here Are Picutres From Our Weekend at the Cabin

My Mom and Dad took me to our cabin for the weekend. This is a picture of Mom and Dad.

Grandma and Grandpa Landmann came to visit us there. Dad hunted, Grandpa fished, Mom and Grandma visited and Mom rode the ATVs. I had the best time though...I got held and played with my everyone. Sometimes they were waiting in line to hold me and make me smile. It was a fun time.

They all call me by different names at different times. Like this time they were calling me "Princess", I guess cause I looked like a fairy tale princess.

Sometimes they call me "Pretty Girl"

and other times they call me "Piglet"......

but only my Mom and Dad call me that and I think it is a term of endearment....hmmmm?

From Henry Thomas - Guess Who Just Turned "One"

Yesterday after my nap, my Mom took me to the park and guess what....there was a birthday party for me there.

Friends and family all came to help me celebrate my first birthday. I'm a big boy now.....boy we had fun!!! Here are a couple pictures of my special day.

Grandpa gave me a really cool tricycle. I tried really hard to reach the peddles but my legs need to grow just a little bit more. I wanted to make it go go go!! Vrrrroommm!

We got to drink "root beer". It came in a big red tub...not sure how it works, but it was good. My Mom wouldn't let me have much. I had a great time opening birthday gifts. I'm a lucky boy to have so many friends and family.

Komments from Kori

Hello Grandma......Sending you some pictures so you can see how I'm growing. In this picture I'm smiling because my Mother and I are happy that I'm sleeping more and crying less.

See how cute my Mom dresses me?

In this picture I'm smiling because I "Know" how much my Daddy loves me.

Henry Thomas Tells Us About Sweet Gramdma's Visit

Today Grandma Landmann came for a visit. I woke up from my morning nap and there she was. I'm glad I was rested because we got to play and eat lunch and it was so much fun. She liked to play with my toes. She called me her "Pretty Boy" and " Handsome Little Man"...I hope those are good things. She brought me
Toddler cheese crackers, just my size.

After lunch we played and I showed Grandma how I can walk just about anywhere there isn't some barrier my Mom sets up to slow me down. I took her out to meet the puppies and I helped my Mom and Dad show
Grandma our new landscaping.
She took a "few" pictures.....
she always does....
We will share some with you today.

Grandma brought me a couple new
books. Me and Mom couldn't wait
to read them. I like the counting
book the best. The other book
was supposed to make
me want to go to sleep..(smile)
